How Eppendorf handles professional inquiry data and technical website logs.
When you submit an inquiry, we may collect name, work email, phone, organization, country, inquiry type, and message content. Server logs may include IP address, user agent, and timestamps for security and reliability.
We use inquiry data to respond to product, service, and documentation requests; to improve site reliability; and to meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Inquiry records are retained for the period needed to complete the request and meet quality-system or legal retention requirements, then deleted or anonymized according to internal schedules.
We may share data with service providers under contract (hosting, email delivery) or when required by law. Cross-border transfers follow applicable GDPR and regional privacy rules where they apply.
Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data by contacting the privacy route on the contact page. HIPAA obligations apply only when we process protected health information under a covered arrangement—do not send PHI through website forms.
Privacy questions: use the contact form and select regulatory documentation, or email the address listed on the contact page.
